Ephesians 2:10 says "For we are God's masterpiece. He has
created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good
things he planned for us long ago." The Bible teaches that
God created you in a unique way and gifted you to serve him
and do good things for him. We call this your ministry.
At Oak Dale we will help you
discover your spiritual gift and give you opportunity to use
your gifts to love God and others.
A few examples of ministry
opportunities are:
- Serving the Church
practical ways such as giving hospitality, ushering,
teaching, and music.
- Serving in Oak Dale's
summer Vacation Bible School by teaching a class or
helping with one of the many fun activities.
- Participating in Helping
Hands, where ladies join together to sew blankets and
make other supplies to send to needy people in other
places.
- Other service projects
are available from time to time, both local and in other
communities.
